    Proposed change of use of part 2nd storey production area & 3rd storey production area and ancillary office to ancillary workers’ dormitory (for 72 workers) at the existing 3-storey industrial building with approved ancillary office on Lot 02707L MK06, 33 Kian Teck Way (Jurong West Planning Area)

    Challenge

    The newly purchased factory was renovated into a workers’ dormitory on the 2nd and 3rd floors. We built over 80 beds initially, then added 20 more for a total of more than 100. With a tight budget, furniture and materials were imported from China. The renovation was finished with satisfying results and occupied by workers.
